Good on you Mark…keep us in the loop!

Sing Sing Sing

There’s been some creative, fun vocal warm-ups going on at Rockhampton. Here’s a pic of some of their team together during a vocal session.

WA Visit

It’s been a little slow here on the blog as I’ve been over in Western Australia with the crew from Bunbury and Australind Vineyards, and then at Southside in Perth.

It was great to put names to faces and to see what God’s doing. There’s some wonderful songs erupting with the Australind/Bunbury guys and we had a blast hearing those. I won’t be able to get the image out of my head of Danny Sullivan in a sumo wrestling suit dancing to one of Steph’s new songs called Thank You. Great song, weird dancing! Very memorable! Be glad I didn’t get a picture, Danny.

The Southside crew also had locally written songs that they are singing in their church. I arrived up there Saturday afternoon and we all got together for a session. On Sunday when we were at church, it was evident that they were taking risks and stepping out into new areas as God led them. Well done guys.

I’ll post some more when I ‘land’ but just wanted to let you know why it’s been a bit quiet here. Thanks for those who have added comments recently. And Bec, thanks for the tip about putting a contact email on here. Good point! I’ll get that up soon.

Song Query?

Often people email asking where to find a particular song – chart, audio, lyric, etc etc.

Sometimes the request comes with an urgency ( When do you need it? Oh, I need it now!) and often with an unknown quantity (Do you know the title? Or maybe the songwriter or publisher? No, but it has the word glory in it.)

So, there are a wealth of search engines are around for such an occasion. Here’s a great one to start.  Songquery.com  This is a comprehensive Christian music search engine that includes an array of categories/labels and genres.

Let me know if you have others that you find really helpful.

Prayer for Dale in France

Dale Barber has a ministry trip happening and would appreciate us praying. He says, “Thanks for thinking of these meetings in your prayers and also for the whole two week ministry tour in France from the 20th of October to the 4th of November.”

Links to websites

Evie from Northern Beaches Vineyard, Mackay has noticed that I haven’t had their website on the site. So you’ll see a new link there now, along with Gold Coast Vineyard.

I’m glad you pointed that out, Evie. Any others I’ve missed?
